From Rabbi Fleischmann:

Hemingway is supposed to have said that the world breaks everyone but some are stronger in the broken places. Many are numb to the breaks. And many are stuck in the pain. But many also work on the strength that can follow the breaks.

Which kind of person are you?

I strive to be the type that works on the strength than can follow the breaks. Sometimes I'm numb, sometimes stuck, but more I often (I pray) I'm working on the strenth that follows.

Thanks for posting this and asking.
