Another Mystery
Since I cleared up the mystery of the floral-painted cabs (see the comment section below), I figured I would add another mystery to my list. Why do buildings not have 13th floors but they will have the address 666? Is that not also bad luck?

666 is the number of the Beast, a creature that is supposedly completely evil. Officially it's a gematria, but it really doesn't have anything to do with bad luck, which is what 13 "means"...
Excuse me. The gematria is used to allude to the emperor Nero, based on the aramaic translation of his name. The "number of the beast" bit is from the Christian bible, referring to the antichrist, and later apocryphal writings...
