"Ugly" Betty Wins
All I can say is, if this chick*:
is ugly, I think there are a lot more eating orders and self-esteem problems coming up for American girls.
*Chick in question is America Ferrara, the star of the TV show "Ugly Betty" and she just won some award in whatever award show is on TV right now. You know the one.

America is beautiful but have you seen her on the show? They make her look hideous. But I am so happy she won! She's great on the show.
It takes them over an hour to make her up for the show. So ya... she's not expected to be seen as "ugly" without her makeup. ;-)

I have seen her on the show and feel bad for anyone in a role with the moniker "ugly." I just think that maybe they should give equal opportunity to people who are actually ugly.

You should see her in the film "Real Women Have Curves". She's great.
