Science of Siblings

My father passed along the cover article from TIME this week entitled "The Science of Siblings." It's premise is that our personalities are shaped by our interactions with our siblings growing up. Kinda interesting, but I don't think I buy it. What do you think? Did your siblings form who you are?

I agree with you. I was neither impressed with the argument nor the article.

The best, most convincing parts of the article were about the interaction of parents and siblings, not siblings alone.

I think the article is similar to many aspects of psychological research - disappointingly inconclusive. But that's the problem when dealing with humans - there are too many exceptions to have many rules.
