Video from my Dad
My dad sent me this video this morning just cuz he found it touching. I also liked it, and thought it was cool that my dad knows how to e-mail me videos, so I thought I would pass it along (which is kinda the point of the video anyway). Enjoy!

That obviously took place down south. The New York city vid would be the exact opposite.
cute.
random acts of kindness go a long way.
I saw this commercial on TV. I liked it the first time I saw it. Great that we can share it. I'm now sending to my Mom :)
That's awesome. I'd switch to Liberty Mutual just for that. That's what it's all about...
Great video. I just wish that acts like these were the norm rather than the exception. Everybody seems to want it, but only a very few actually live it. Hopefully one day!
Great clip, just great.
Very nice. Gives me a couple of ideas.
Semgirl, JT: A tad negative, are we? The whole point is not focusing on what everyone else is doing right/wrong, but doing the right thing by yourself. No one is asking you to change the whole NYC, just change yourself. And always wear a smile :)

Let's hope it was an example of what happens everywhere.

Thanks, and thanks for the link - you tossed quite a few hits over here.

Do it! Live it!

Absolutely. I think the point of the commercial is that, we might not even see these little kindnesses happening, but they make a difference. So we should pass them on.
This reminds me of an e-bay commercial from a few years ago. It likewise shows people doing random acts of goodness - picking up litter, etc. The point being that e-bay is entirely premised on the belief that people are generally good. I can't find that commercial on Youtube, but I did find this one:

Thank you, that was a very nice video as well :)
nice video. thanks.
I read an article once describing the same phenomenon - the ripple effect of one simple act of kindness, such as getting in a taxi and saying good morning to the driver with a smile, then he yields a right of way to someone who then, etc...
I've seen it already, but I couldn't help watching twice more
thanx.
