Cool Imams

Article in the NY Times about the need for more Muslim clergy who understand modern American culture. I found it particularly interesting because of the parallels I see in the Muslim youth being described in the article and the current trend of focusing on "off the derech" or "at-risk" teens in the Orthodox Jewish communities, which doesn't surprise me, because I often see these parallels.
