My head is pounding from fasting, but two things to blog about today:
1) Interesting article in the NY Times about the singles scene on the Upper West Side.
2) New favorite word - squogre - it's a twist between a squirrel and an ogre and will now be used to describe someone I don't like, or who is annoying me.

What, no mention of the great Orthodox singles community in Washington Heights? Man, I feel left out. We also have websites - maalotwashington.com and mtsinaishul.com and we have cheaper rents!
When I clicked on the link and saw the title and picture and started reading I went back to see who wrote it. I had already guessed that it was Jennifer Bleyer. She writes a lot about the Jewish community and in my opinion writes really well.
