Freedom

When I left my apartment this morning, I forgot my cell phone at home. From the time I left the house until I got home, almost 15 hours later, I was without what I usually consider my lifeline to just about everyone I know. And I didn't really miss it. It was kinda nice.

it's refreshing to not be 'on call'
although when I did that i did get a bit anxious but then i realised that it's not going to matter because if someone needs me urgently they can contact me at work!

Best part about going on vacation...turning the cell phone off!

Ah I wish I could just go back to the seventies when life was so much easier and I wasnt disturbed every ten seconds by my phone or someone elses. And you know what the world will manage just nicely w/o you..

And you can have time to meditate and think am I growing spiritually w/o talking to someone every possible second
