He commented on the book I was reading, and then we had a whole philosophical discussion in the time it took my bus to get me home. He was extremely knowledgeable about different people and religions and we discussed everything from Judaism to Eastern religions.  He really glowed. He said it was basically allergies and he showed me this scary picture of my eye with all kinds of bumpiness on it. He gave me prescription eye drops that have both antibiotics and steroids in them in order to make my eyes feel better.
